Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dalton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dalton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dalton trying to control the position.
Johnson gets to his feet - Dalton follows without any prompting. Brandon Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dalton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson. A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Dalton tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Dalton leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Dalton, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Dalton against the cage but Dalton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson fails with the takedown. Johnson is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Dalton. Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dalton lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Johnson backs up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalton stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Dalton shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dalton throwing strikes but missing. Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Dalton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dalton throwing shots but Johnson is blocking nicely. Dalton stands up and beckons Johnson to join him on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalton clinches. A frustrated look appears on Dalton's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dalton breaks from the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Dalton is trying to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling him. Dalton pulls Johnson into guard.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson is sitting in close to Dalton's body. Dalton has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Johnson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Johnson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dalton.
