Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen I will go full retard on you! as his entrance music. Freddy White is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy White! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starner blocks a jab. White moves to clinch but Starner breaks away and White takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. White fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Starner checks it well. White misses with a straight left. Starner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White throws a hook but Starner avoids it easily. Starner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from White. White misses the jab. White uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Starner. White lands with a straight right. Starner didn't see that one coming. Starner blocks a jab. Starner misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White throws a right hand that misses
and Starner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. White with a nice cross. Starner shoots in and bounces White off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Starner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Starner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Starner won't allow White to sweep him here. White utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Starner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now. White looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Starner landing with the ground and pound. Starner wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Starner wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. Starner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. White is trying to keep Starner in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starner trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White managing to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. White walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. White gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Starner to score an easy takedown into full guard. Starner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Starner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Starner manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White is pushing down on Starner's leg trying to pass to half guard. Starner is fighting to maintain full guard but White has managed to sneak the leg through. Starner is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White tries to sprawl but Starner drives through with a takedown into half guard. Starner not landing any meaningful shots this time. White is trying to control but can't.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Glen Starner just wasn't active enough. White lands a jab to Starner's midsection. White throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Starner counters with a nice double leg into side control. White won't be happy with that. Starner is trying to ground and pound but White uses the momentary lack of control by Starner to regain half guard. Starner looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Starner working the head and body with strikes. White on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. White tries to get to full guard but Starner has control of the leg. Starner slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Starner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Starner is trying to control the action in half guard but White is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Starner. White is looking to control Starner's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can White avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Starner throws a strike but White avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Starner scoring with some ground and pound. Starner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. White working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Starner. Starner content to stall in guard here. Starner trying to control but White is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Glen Starner dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Starner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Starner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Starner throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Starner looking to finish with strikes here!
Starner thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Starner misses with a head shot. White is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. White wants to hold on but Starner pushes him away. Starner with the ground and pound from mount. Starner working away from the top, dropping strikes. Glen Starner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Starner looking to control but White is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Starner landing strikes, looking to finish! Freddy White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. White wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Starner.
Starner breaks from White's wrist control and lands an elbow. Starner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Starner thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Starner scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Starner trying to control but he's not successful this time. Starner throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Starner controlling the pace for now. Starner with a couple of short strikes. Glen Starner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Starner misses with a head shot. White is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

And that's the end of the fight! Glen Starner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Starner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
