The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
avillanoza tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
avillanoza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pong checks a leg kick.
avillanoza slaps away a takedown attempt from Pong, before circling back to the center of the mat.
avillanoza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pong is trying to defend but avillanoza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pong slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
avillanoza throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pong works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
avillanoza content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
avillanoza would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

avillanoza tries to free his leg and advance position but Pong is retaining full guard.

avillanoza has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pong to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! avillanoza is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pong pulls down on the head and he's put avillanoza to sleep! This one is all over!
