Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muru Aalto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Bainite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Muru Aalto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Muru Aalto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bert Bainite!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bainite has his takedown stuffed
and Aalto counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bainite trying to hold on to Aalto's head to control him but Aalto postures up.
Bainite looking for submissions off his back.
Bainite is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Aalto pulls his head out easily.
Bainite misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bainite trying to control from the bottom.

Bainite moves into full guard.
Bainite working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aalto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aalto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Aalto prevents Bainite from getting back to his feet.
Aalto postures up.
Aalto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bainite has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Aalto has managed to get both his arms back between Bainite's legs - danger averted.
Bainite is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bainite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aalto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bainite has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Aalto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bainite.
Bainite is looking for a sweep.

Bainite manages to work his way to half guard, despite Aalto's best efforts.
Bainite looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bainite is pressing down on Aalto's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Bainite is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bainite had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aalto defends it easily.

Bainite is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aalto defends well.
Aalto wanted to stand there but Bainite had control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Muru Aalto will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bainite tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bainite looks for a takedown but Aalto sprawls well.
Aalto lands a head shot.
Bainite looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Aalto throws a hook but Bainite avoids it easily.
A big left from Aalto misses.
Aalto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bainite blocks a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aalto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bainite moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bainite shoots in and gets a takedown into Aalto's guard.
Bainite trying to control but Aalto is working from the bottom.
Bainite stands and throws Aalto's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bainite is trying to get an arm triangle but Aalto is defending well.
Bainite wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aalto keeps working.
Aalto is pushing Bainite's head away, looking to escape. Bainite manages to hold on to the position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Aalto is not content to let Bainite control the position.
Bainite is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Aalto is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Bainite has an Americana. Aalto didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bainite is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bainite hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
