Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vic Slater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Slice! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slice as he jumps to the side. Slice shoots in but no luck this time. Slice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Slater is looking to clinch. Slater ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away. Slater with a poor takedown and Slice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Slice wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slater keeps working. Slice content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice is trying to control the action in half guard but Slater is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Slater is defending against the submission attempts here by Slice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Slater is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Slater is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Slice's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Slice's back! Slice covering up well and avoiding damage. Slice trying to control the action but Slater just sinks the hooks in. Slice tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Slater looking to control but Slice is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Slice working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Slater trying to control but he's not successful this time. Slice is in all sorts of trouble here.
Slater is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Slice can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Slater stands up from mount. Strange move. Slater shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Slice counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Slater! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Slater. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slater is breathing heavily. Slice controlling from mount. Slater is looking to improve his position but Slice isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Slater is looking to improve his position but Slice isn't that keen on the idea. Slice controlling his opponent. Slater's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Slater taking shots to the head. Slice controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Slater tries to hold on but Slice postures up. Slice looking to control and managing it successfully. Slice in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Slater wants to control but Slice is having none of it. Slice controlling from the full mount. Slater is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Slice dominated that round. That's time! Slater's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Slater has his takedown stuffed and Slice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Slice stays in close to Slater's body and controls the position. Slice stands up from Slater's guard - Slice perhaps looking for a knockout. Slater ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Slater gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Slice counters with a shoot takedown. Slater fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slice would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Slater is trying to keep Slice in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Slice must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Slice thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Slater not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Slice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ken Slice has got the better of the ground game so far. Slice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Slater is keeping the position for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slice looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Slice in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice is tying to control. Slater wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Despite being in the dominant position, Ken Slice just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Slice throws a hook to the side of Slater's head but Slater sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice staying out of range there. Slice drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Slater tries to strike from the bottom.

Slice not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Slice tries to free his leg and advance position but Slater is retaining full guard. Slater working a defensive guard here.
Slice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slater. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Slice not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Slice's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

He's now in the guard on the top. Slater won't allow Slice to sweep him here. Slice has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Slater off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Slater has his takedown stuffed and Slice counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Slater. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slater is being controlled here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slater can't do much from the bottom here. Slice tries for a kimura but Slater is defending well. Ken Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Now he's in top in Slice's guard.

Slice is looking for a sweep. Slater decides to stand back up. Slater steps back and let's Slice get back to his feet. Slater changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Slice tries for a takedown but Slater sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Slater shoots in but Slice avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slice clinches. Vic Slater has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Slice blocks an uppercut.

And that's the end of the fight! Ken Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Slice winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
