Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Marquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Tyson! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tyson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
It looks like Junior Marquez has been cut. Tyson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Marquez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tyson blocks it with crossed arms. Tyson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marquez misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyson pushes Marquez up against the cage in a clinch. Marquez jumps guard but Tyson stands there with Marquez around his waist. Marquez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Marquez manages to pull guard.
Tyson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Marquez's guard. Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marquez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marquez is looking for a triangle but Tyson pushes his legs off easily.
Tyson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tyson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Marquez, up you get! Tyson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marquez. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Marquez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marquez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tyson pushes Marquez off looking to stand but Marquez dives back in and keeps control.
Marquez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Marquez wants to take a breather but Tyson is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson tries to roll over but Marquez keeps him under control. Tyson pushes Marquez off and gets back to his feet. Marquez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch but Marquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tyson swivels and escapes. Marquez is breathing heavily. Marquez tries for a takedown but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tyson throws a right hand that Marquez ducks under and follows up with a left that Marquez also avoids with ease. Marquez keeps the fight on the outside. Tyson doesn't manage to clinch there - Marquez circles away.
Marquez dives in and grabs Tyson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tyson pushes down on Marquez's head and hops out. Tyson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyson gets a clinch. Tyson working some nice short punches in the clinch. Marquez tries to pull guard but Tyson won't allow it.
Tyson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyson moves into range and clinches up with Marquez. Tyson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Tyson digs a right hand into Marquez's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Marquez's gas tank.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Tyson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Marquez. Marquez wants to get back to his feet. It looks like Tyson is going to stand back up.
Tyson stands up out of the half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tyson rushes Marquez and presses him up against the cage. Tyson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tyson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tyson wants to stand but Marquez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Marquez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tyson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Marquez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Marquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Marquez keeping moving, preventing Tyson from controlling successfully. Tyson wanted to stand there but Marquez had control of the position. Tyson is stalling in the full guard. Marquez looking for a triangle here. Tyson is fighting it but it looks tight! Marquez pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Tyson is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Junior Marquez!
