Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rysiek Lubicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Johnson. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Lubicz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lubicz has time to react. Johnson misses with a body shot.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lubicz misses with a takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lubicz shoots and misses and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Johnson throws a quick inside leg kick. Lubicz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a left and a right that stings Lubicz. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rysiek Lubicz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lubicz dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Lubicz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lubicz there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson stalks Lubicz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lubicz's face. Lubicz staggers backwards, shaken. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lubicz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lubicz tries to move into range but Johnson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Johnson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lubicz is rocked! A big left from Johnson misses. Oh Lubicz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A decent looking cross lands there for Johnson. Johnson looks to land a combination but Lubicz avoids it well. Lubicz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Lubicz crashing down! Lubicz tries to stagger back to his feet but Johnson just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Lubicz asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian Johnson!
