The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudirez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
sheen wants to stand up but Rudirez is controlling him.
Rudirez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Rudirez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from sheen.

sheen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
bob sheen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Rudirez moves into the clinch.

bob sheen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rudirez throws a half hearted mid kick.
sheen throws a head kick that misses.
sheen closes the distance but Rudirez moves to the side
and Rudirez counters with a single leg into guard. sheen didn't expect that.
Rudirez pushes down on sheen's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rudirez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so sheen is just riding it out for now. Rudirez eventually gives up the hold.
Rudirez wants to take a breather but sheen is having none of it.
Rudirez wants to free his trapped foot but sheen is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rudirez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed sheen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Rudirez is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. sheen is defending well though. Rudirez let's go of the attempt for now.
Rudirez is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. sheen knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften sheen for a finish.
