Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mr Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobber has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 75 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Jobber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gegard Mousasi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mousasi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jobber sprawls well initially but Mousasi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mousasi connects with a nice short shot to Jobber's temple. Mousasi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jobber is breathing heavily. Mousasi cracks Jobber with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Mousasi with shots to the head and body - Jobber looks very uncomfortable down there. Jobber has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Jobber covers up after that shot from Mousasi.
Mousasi is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jobber defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jobber is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Mousasi keeps control of the position easily here as Jobber tries to buck him off.
Mousasi is punishing Jobber with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousasi biding his time, controlling Jobber. Jobber might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jobber is taking damage to the body and head. Jobber is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Mousasi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jobber has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Mousasi is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Mousasi has Jobber flattened out and is raining down punches. Mousasi has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jobber's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Can Jobber hold on?! Mousasi is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Mousasi lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Mousasi.
Mousasi has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Jobber. Mousasi is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Jobber up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mousasi lands a shot to the body.
Jobber is rocked! Mousasi biding his time, controlling Jobber. Mousasi is working the ground and pound. Can Jobber escape? Mousasi controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mousasi is working for a rear naked choke. Jobber is not defending it well and Mousasi has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jobber refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jobber's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gegard Mousasi!
