Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elroy Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop comes to the cage accompanied by The Regulator. Escobar has chosen Dr. Kitch as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pablo Escobar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elroy Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Escobar! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop tries to clinch but fails miserably and Escobar counters with a nice uppercut. Escobar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bishop counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A punch combination from Escobar misses. Escobar chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bishop shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Escobar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Escobar controlling the action here. Escobar scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop tries to roll over but Escobar keeps him under control. Still in half guard, Escobar seems content to control. Escobar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pablo Escobar. Bishop looks to clinch and Escobar counters with a one-two to the body. Bishop falls off balance throwing a combination
and Escobar counters with an inside leg kick. Bishop tries to clinch but Escobar moves away and Escobar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Pablo Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Escobar scores with a takedown into Bishop's guard. Escobar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bishop's guard. Bishop is staying active underneath Escobar, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bishop is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Escobar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Escobar looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Escobar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bishop defending well though. The fighters are battling for position here. Bishop manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bishop being controlled here, momentarily. Bishop is trying to control the position but Escobar postures up. Escobar wants to control from the top but Bishop keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Pablo Escobar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Escobar lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Escobar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Escobar scores with a hook to the body. Bishop looking to slow down the pace here. Bishop tries to pull guard but Escobar won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Escobar pulls Bishop into guard.
Bishop throwing strikes from guard but Escobar blocks nicely. Bishop being controlled here momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bishop moves to clinch but Escobar breaks away and Escobar counters with a head kick. Bishop missing with a left hand there. Escobar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bishop takes a kick to the side of the head. Escobar throws a shot to the body.

letting Escobar counter with a right hand. Bishop moves out of range of the strikes. Bishop looks to clinch and Escobar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Escobar counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Escobar avoiding damage.
Bishop jumps guard but Escobar stands there with Bishop around his waist. Bishop gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bishop wants a takedown.
Escobar pulls guard. Escobar trying to control the position here. Bishop drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Escobar dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Escobar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop is not content to let Escobar control the position. Bishop tries to bench press Escobar off him but Escobar keeps the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Bishop taking punishment in the form of punches.
Escobar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Escobar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Escobar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Escobar scores with punches from side control. Escobar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bishop is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Escobar lands a decent elbow from side control. Bishop tries to buck Escobar off but Escobar is having none of it. Escobar postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bishop is trying to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here. Escobar trying to control the action but Bishop is working from the bottom. Bishop manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Escobar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bishop throws a right and a left that Escobar avoids nicely. Bishop tries for a takedown but Escobar circles away easily and Escobar counters with a shoot takedown. Bishop fights it but they end up in guard. Escobar trying to control the position from guard on top but Bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bishop tries to strike from the bottom.
Bishop bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Escobar's guard. Bishop tries to free his leg and advance position but Escobar is retaining full guard. Bishop throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Escobar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bishop in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Escobar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bishop! Bishop tries to lock up and control but Escobar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Escobar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Escobar landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Escobar trying to control but he's not successful this time. Escobar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bishop kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bishop is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Escobar trying to control but Bishop is having none of it. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Escobar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop is trying desperately to improve position. Escobar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bishop defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Escobar. Escobar prevents Bishop from getting the reversal. Escobar landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Escobar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bishop turns into him and now he's in Escobar's guard.
Elroy Bishop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Escobar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bishop. Bishop tries to free his leg and advance position but Escobar is retaining full guard. Escobar wants to sweep but no luck. Bishop throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Escobar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Escobar has Bishop pulled in close to control his posture. Pablo Escobar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Escobar trying to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Pablo Escobar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Escobar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
