Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko lands a nice shot that snaps Heller's head back.
Aleks Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heller tries to avoid it but Emelianenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heller to the ground. Heller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Heller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Emelianenko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Heller fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Emelianenko on the side of the head.
Emelianenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Heller paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Heller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Emelianenko pinned against the cage. Emelianenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Emelianenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Heller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
