Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, DeQuinten van Nistelrooy!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Nistelrooy misses with a kick to the body
and Van der sar counters with a single leg into guard. van Nistelrooy didn't expect that.
Van der sar is fighting to break van Nistelrooy's control of his arms but van Nistelrooy is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Van der sar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Van der sar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
van Nistelrooy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Van der sar is controlling him.
Van der sar throwing strikes from guard but van Nistelrooy blocks nicely.
van Nistelrooy is wriggling around but Van der sar manages to pass to half guard.

van Nistelrooy is not content to let Van der sar control the position.
Van der sar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and van Nistelrooy defends it well.
Van der sar seems to be working for a kimura but van Nistelrooy defends the submission attempt.
Van der sar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Van der sar drops an elbow to the side of van Nistelrooy's head.

van Nistelrooy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van der sar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Van der sar has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can van Nistelrooy defend it? Van der sar steps over the head and cranks it - van Nistelrooy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Van der sar!
