Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bouncy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Cardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francis Cardon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bouncy Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francis Cardon! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cardon circles away from the clinch attempt and Cardon counters with a takedown into side control. Bob struggling a bit here. Bob is not content to let Cardon control the position. Bob is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bob tries to improve position but can't. Cardon working away. Bob is not content to let Cardon control the position. Cardon stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bob shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cardon is trying to defend but Bob finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cardon on the ground. Cardon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cardon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cardon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bob defends it easily. Cardon looks gassed! Cardon has momentary wrist control but Bob slips an elbow through the middle. Cardon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bob! Bob is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardon tries to control but Bob wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cardon working away from the top, dropping strikes. Cardon landing strikes, looking to finish! Cardon stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Bob keeps the fight on the outside. Cardon misses the body punch and Bob connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bob closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cardon quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Cardon manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Cardon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cardon is working for a kimura but Bob is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bob wants to sweep but Cardon has passed to side control! Cardon is looking to take a break and control but Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Francis Cardon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Cardon missing with a left hand there. Bob was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bob throws a body kick that misses. Bob lands with a shot to the body. Cardon with a lazy takedown attempt and Bob counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bob in particular looking to stall. Cardon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bob trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cardon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cardon gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Cardon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bob counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Francis Cardon has got the better of the ground game so far. Cardon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bob manages to get himself to full guard.
Cardon trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cardon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cardon gets to his feet. Bob looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cardon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob tries to get out of the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cardon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cardon stands up from guard. Let's bang! Cardon moves into the clinch. Cardon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cardon checks a low kick from Bob. Bob looks to clinch and Cardon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bob's guard. Cardon gets to his feet. Bob looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bob scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardon manages to get to full guard.
Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cardon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cardon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bob avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cardon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cardon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bob's guard. Cardon passes into half guard. Cardon passes to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cardon working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cardon tries to control but Bob wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Francis Cardon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bob throws a sloppy head kick and Cardon moves out of range easily. Bouncy Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bob looks for the body kick but Cardon saw that one coming. Bob tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cardon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bob! Cardon looking to finish with strikes here!
Bob tries to lock up and control but Cardon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cardon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bob is looking to escape. Cardon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cardon get's back to his feet. Cardon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bob counters with a shoot takedown. Cardon fights it but they end up in guard. Bob has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cardon is proving hard to escape from. Cardon looking for a guillotine here but Bob defends easily.
Cardon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bob is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cardon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cardon being controlled for a moment. Bob tries to get to his feet but Cardon is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Bob in his guard. Bob wants to stand and escape but instead Cardon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardon wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving. Bob can't keep his opponent in guard - Cardon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bob tries to roll over but Cardon keeps him under control. Cardon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bob keeping control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cardon has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Francis Cardon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cardon scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bob?
Cardon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bob is looking to escape. Cardon controlling from the full mount. Cardon wants to finish this one by submission but Bob is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cardon.
And that's the end of the fight! Francis Cardon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cardon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
