Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Sams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Sams! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hall misses with a jab to the body
and Sams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sams trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard. Samsis looking to pass into half guard but Hall pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hall is in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall wants to pass the guard but Sams is keeping the position. Sams pulls Hall in to control the position. Hall wants to stand but Sams is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hall throws and elbow that misses. Sams uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hall's guard. Nice move by Sams! Sams looking to pass the guard. Sams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hall is keeping the position for now. Sams is looking to work some ground and pound but Hall has wrist control. Samsis looking to pass into half guard but Hall pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hall is in guard. Hall engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hall! Hall tries to reverse the position but Sams maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sams throwing strikes but Hall uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sams is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sams stalling away here and it's allowed Hall to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Sams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hall works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sams won't allow Hall to get back to his feet. Hall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hall is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hall tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sams controls his leg. Hall thows a huge punch but Sams dodges it nicely.
Hall is trying to control. Sams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hall missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Matt Sams will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sams throws a combination that misses letting Hall counter with a right hand. A good leg kick by Hall. Hall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hank Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hall fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Danga de danga de dang - Hall scores with a four punch combination! Sams throws out a powerful jab. Hank Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sams shoots for a takedown but Hall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hall scores with a decent looking hook. Sams takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall throws a right hand that Sams ducks under and follows up with a left that Sams also avoids with ease. Hall looks for the body kick but Sams saw that one coming. Sams misses with a two punch combination.
Sams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hall was well out of range. Poor timing from Sams. Sams misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sams misses with a series of wild punches.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Sams. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet. Hall scores with a hook. A jab from Hall does it's job there. Sams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sams there as he acknowledges the shot. A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target. Hall scores with a jab to the jaw. Sloppy strikes from Sams. Those never looked like landing. Sams moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hall lands a body shot.
Sams is breathing heavily. Hall lands a left and a right that send Sams crashing to the mat, dazed. Hall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sams is rocked!
It looks like Matt Sams has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall cracks Sams with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sams tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hall pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sams is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hank Hall!
