Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sheamus Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shave Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face has chosen Welcome to the TerrorDome as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noonan misses the body punch

and Face counters with a single leg into guard. Noonan didn't expect that.
Face is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Noonan is pulling down on Face's head to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Noonan looking for a sweep. Not yet Noonan, not yet.
Face seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Noonan misses with the body kick

and Face decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Noonan's guard.
Noonan is trying to control the position but Face postures up.
Noonan managing to control the position.
Noonan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

and Face counters with a single leg into guard. Noonan didn't expect that.

Noonan has his hands on Face's head, controlling the position.
Noonan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Shave Face.
Face swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Face comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Noonan jabs Face to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Noonan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Noonan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Noonan misses with a body shot
and Face counters with a stiff right hand.
Shave Face is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A bone on bone clash there as Face blocks the leg kick.
Noonan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Face connects with a solid leg kick.
Noonan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Face cracks a nice hook into Noonan's ribs.
Noonan misses with a jab to the body
and Face counters with a straight right hand.
Noonan misses with a left hand
and Face connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice uppercut lands for Noonan. That snapped Face's head back.
Noonan moves in looking to clinch but Face pushes him off.
Noonan misses with a right hand
and Face makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Noonan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Face under the eye.
Noonan throws an off balance right hand
and Face counters with a straight right hand.
Face misses with an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shave Face dominated that round.

Noonan takes a head kick and keeps coming.

and Face counters with a nice uppercut.
Face lands with a cross.
A low kick from Noonan is predictable there
and Face counters with a straight right hand.
Face takes one on the button.
Noonan misses with a left hand
letting Face counter with a right hand.
Face has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Face lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Noonan is rocked!
Face drops Noonan with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Noonan! Face dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
