Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pizzazz Longez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asmir Zslevski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Pizzazz Longez has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pizzazz Longez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asmir Zslevski!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zslevski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Longez swings away with a body shot that misses
and Longez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Longez lands a nice shot to the body.
Zslevski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Longez.
Longez throws a right hand that Zslevski ducks under and follows up with a left that Zslevski also avoids with ease.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zslevski.
Zslevski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Longez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Longez stalks Zslevski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zslevski's face. Zslevski staggers backwards, shaken.
Zslevski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Longez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pizzazz Longez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zslevski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Longez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Zslevski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Zslevski passes Longez's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Longez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Longez tries to get out of the position.

Zslevski wants to control but Longez is keeping him busy.
Zslevski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Longez kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Zslevski can't control as he wanted to and Longez manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Longez is trying to maintain the position but Zslevski is very close to passing his half guard.
Zslevski is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Longez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zslevski on the ground.
Zslevski wants to control the pace but Longez is squirming around nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zslevski goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Longez is on top in guard.
Longez wants to control from the top but Zslevski keeps moving.

Longez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Longez tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Zslevski is able to avoid easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zslevski. Longez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Longez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zslevski checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Pizzazz Longez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Zslevski loads up on a big right hand but Longez slips the punch.

Zslevski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Longez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Asmir Zslevski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Longez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Longez misses with a hook.
Longez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zslevski eats them both and turns towards Longez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Longez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Zslevski throws a hook to the side of Longez's head but Longez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Longez tests Zslevski's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Zslevski counters with a single leg into guard. Longez didn't expect that.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I've got Zslevski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
