The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costinha tries to clinch up
and Blimm counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Leo Costinha has been cut.
Costinha stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Costinha wants it to stay on the feet.
Blimm misses with a takedown
and Costinha counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Blimm takes a kick to the side of the head.
An inside leg kick lands from Costinha.
Costinha tries to clinch

and Blimm counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Costinha!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blimm tries to take Costinha's back but instead Costinha uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Blimm prevents Costinha from standing back up.

Blimm can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Costinha is looking to escape.
Costinha is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Blimm trying to control but Costinha is having none of it.
Blimm unloads with some shots from mount but Costinha bucks and avoids them well.
Costinha is controlling an arm, preventing Blimm from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Costinha trying desperately to get to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Blimm is working for a guillotine from mount but Costinha frees his head quite easily.

Blimm cracks Costinha with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
