Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Kildahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes to the cage accompanied by midnight rider. Kildahl is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by dont get up. Matt Hughes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sam Kildahl's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kildahl manages to avoid it.
Kildahl misses with a low kick as Hughes jumps back.
Kildahl throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kildahl leaves Hughes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Hughes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kildahl won't be happy with that.
Hughes throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Kildahl wants to get back to his feet.
Kildahl is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Hughes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kildahl sneaks out the side door and pushes Hughes away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Hughes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kildahl manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hughes wants to control from the top but Kildahl keeps moving.
Kildahl wants to stand and escape but Hughes is having none of it.
Hughes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kildahl's head.

Kildahl pushes Hughes off and scrambles back to his feet.

Kildahl gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hughes to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kildahl can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hughes controls the pace.
Kildahl wants to get back to his feet but Hughes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hughes is looking for a kimura but Kildahl is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hughes to get the leverage.

Kildahl pushes Hughes off and gets back to his feet.

Hughes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kildahl!
Kildahl is in a horrible position here. Hughes smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hughes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hughes won't let Kildahl get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Hughes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kildahl can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hughes has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kildahl's face.
You get the feeling that Kildahl really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Hughes has isolated one of Kildahl's arms. Kildahl looking to fight him off but Hughes twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
