Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Light!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kay.
Kay lands a high kick!
Kay throws a quick inside leg kick.
Light looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Light wants to pass the guard but Kay is keeping the position.
Light postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Light lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Light wants to control from the top but Kay keeps moving.
Kay is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Light manages to get himself to full guard.

Light wants to stand up but Kay is controlling him.
Light kicks Kay off and gets to his feet.

Kay tries to sprawl but Light drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Kay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Light can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Light pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kay is keeping the position for now.
Light stands up over Kay, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Light throwing strikes from guard but Kay blocks nicely.
Light postures up in Kay's guard and throws a big left but Kay blocks it.
Kay avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Light trying to control the position from guard on top but Kay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Light accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Light looking to pass the guard.

Light got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kay has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Light has managed to get both his arms back between Kay's legs - danger averted.

Light with a flurry of punches that miss.
Light makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kay has his foot on Light's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Light works his way back into a safe position though.
Light distracts Kay with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Light pushes down on Kay's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kay is trying to get back to full guard.
Light drops an elbow to the side of Kay's head.
Light moves into full mount! Kay won't be happy about that!
Kay is desperately trying to improve his position but Light has a good base and remains in mount.
Light lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Light lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Light lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kay hang on?
Kay is rocked!
Light is landing with some decent strikes but Kay is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Kay is still in real trouble! Can Light finish him?
A big strike lands for Light! That's really hurt Kay and he's turned his back - Light keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Light jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keith Light!
