Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Devon James! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James is looking to clinch but Washington is avoiding it.
Washington could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Washington decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Washington looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
James tries to get to full guard but Washington has control of the leg. Washington is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Washington is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, James has managed to free his arm - good work. James is trying to maintain the position but Washington is very close to passing his half guard. James is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Washington jumps into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. James is trying to work for a sweep but Washington has mounted him! James keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
James defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Washington. Washington has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! James is forced to tap!
