Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pera Vihtahousu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vihtahousu has chosen Konevitsan Kirkonkellot as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Cage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pera Vihtahousu! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vihtahousu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vihtahousu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vihtahousu showed some decent athleticism there. Vihtahousu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cage doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vihtahousu. Cage tries to get to full guard but Vihtahousu has control of the leg. Vihtahousu trying to control from half guard but Cage is working away. Cage holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Cage won't allow Vihtahousu to pass to mount. Cage is looking to control Vihtahousu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cage avoid being mounted? Cage is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Vihtahousu is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vihtahousu wants to pass the guard but Cage is defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cage is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vihtahousu. Vihtahousu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cage scores with a jab. Vihtahousu acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Johnny Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vihtahousu looks for a takedown but Cage sprawls well. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Cage. Cage throws a series of punches but Vihtahousu avoids them all with ease. A nice leg kick lands there from Cage. Cage goes for a high kick. It partially lands. A chopping leg kick lands by Cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cage lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Cage throws and low kick but Vihtahousu moves out of range easily. Cage thuds a left hand into Vihtahousu's body. Cage is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Cage misses with a straight right. Cage thows a left - swing and a miss! Cage works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Cage jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cage is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cage is looking to slow Vihtahousu down with leg kicks. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cage takes a swing at Vihtahousu's ribcage but misses. Cage lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cage connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice combo by Cage! Oh, that's hurt him - Vihtahousu falls to the canvas and Cage follows him into side control.
Vihtahousu is rocked! Cage misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Vihtahousu is still in real trouble! Can Cage finish him? Vihtahousu wants to control but Cage postures up. Cage taking a breather here. Vihtahousu seems to have recovered his senses. Vihtahousu tries to improve position but can't. Vihtahousu looks gassed!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cage throws a quick inside leg kick. Cage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cage scores with a three punch combo!
Johnny Cage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cage, right into the meat.
Cage scores with a jab. Vihtahousu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cage swivels and escapes. Johnny Cage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pera Vihtahousu. Vihtahousu tries to clinch there but Cage circles away.
Cage throws a good cross that connects.
Cage throws a nice outside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cage jabs at Vihtahousu's body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cage lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cage. Vihtahousu misses with a body punch
and Cage counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Cage looks at the referee who does nothing so Cage lands a crushing right that sends Vihtahousu to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Cage!
