Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homie Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eazy-E - Real Muthaphukkin G's kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clown fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Okita, pushing him back against the cage.

Okita is trying to force a seperation but Clown has the dominant position.
Okita wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Okita lands a takedown into guard.
Clown looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Clown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Okita wants to control from the top but Clown keeps moving.
Clown seems keen to control Okita's posture.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Clown can't find room to land a body shot as Okita controls the action.
Okita is trying to push Clown away but Clown has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

and Clown counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Okita fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clown sprawls well initially but Okita persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Okita had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clown defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Okita keeping moving, preventing Clown from controlling successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Homie Clown hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Okita tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clown was well out of range. Poor timing from Okita.

Clown is looking to regain half guard here but Okita keeps moving and retains side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Clown wants to control but Okita is keeping busy.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Clown tries to get the hooks in deep but Okita pushed the leg off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I really don't envy Okita right now.
Clown lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mikio Okita will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Clown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Clown needs to keep his hands up - Okita had a free shot at his head there.
Clown cracks Okita with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Clown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Okita is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Homie Clown.
Well Clown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
