Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between marco polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). marco polo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chuck Liddel's chin.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

polo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Liddel throws out the jab.

Liddel feints and as polo raises his hands in defense, Liddel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
polo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Liddel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Liddel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Liddel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed polo's guard.
polo pushes Liddel off looking to stand but Liddel dives back in and keeps control.

Liddel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and polo defends it well.

polo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Liddel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Liddel's back!

I really don't envy Liddel right now.
