Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Hinkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hinkley comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit. Hughes has chosen Real wild one as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Hinkley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Hughes! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Hughes enables Hinkley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hughes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hughes wants to sweep here but Hinkley controlling him for the moment. Hinkley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hughes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hughes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hinkley passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hughes tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hinkley controls the position. Hinkley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hughes for as long as he can get away with. Hughes tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Hinkley easily slips into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Oooh a big shot gets through from Hinkley. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Hughes is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hinkley keeps control of the position easily here as Hughes tries to buck him off.
Hinkley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hughes is really stuck here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hinkley controlling the position well here. Hughes rolled but Hinkley kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Hinkley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hughes tries to escape but Hinkley has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Hinkley has the hooks in. Hughes is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Hinkley passes his arm under Hughes's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Hughes taps!
