Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane MacLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cali Gs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacLain comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Shane MacLain could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cali Gs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane MacLain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cali Gs! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacLain avoids a punch combination nicely.
MacLain instigates a clinch. Gs tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and MacLain avoids it. MacLain takes an elbow to the forehead. Gs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
MacLain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gs tries to clinch and MacLain counters with a shoot takedown. Gs fights it but they end up in guard. MacLain looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacLain is looking to stand up but Gs won't let him. Gs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MacLain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. MacLain stands and steps away. Gs gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacLain moves into the clinch. Gs using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Gs. Gs fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
MacLain lands a knee to the body.
Gs misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from MacLain.
Gs tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and MacLain avoids it. Gs tries to land knees in the clinch but MacLain avoids the damage to the body. Gs misses with an elbow over the top. Gs jumps guard.
Gs wants to sweep here but MacLain controlling him for the moment. Gs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MacLain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. MacLain gets to his feet - Gs follows without any prompting. Gs looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gs tries to grapple but his opponent circles and MacLain counters into the clinch. Nicely done. MacLain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gs gets a clinch. MacLain wants a takedown.
Gs tries to circle away but MacLain has him pinned against the cage. MacLain pulls guard effortlessly. MacLain working a defensive guard here.
Gs throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as MacLain works some decent striking defense from the bottom. MacLain wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Gs drops back, looking for a kneebar! MacLain looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. MacLain looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from MacLain!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. MacLain lands a decent elbow from side control. MacLain working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. MacLain decides to stand back up. Gs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacLain was well out of range. Poor timing from Gs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacLain throws a right hand that Gs ducks under and follows up with a left that Gs also avoids with ease. MacLain wants to slow Gs down by chopping away at his legs. MacLain gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A nice left hand lands by MacLain.
Gs is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. MacLain is defending well for now. MacLain breaks from the clinch.
Gs throws a body kick, spinning off balance and MacLain counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by MacLain. MacLain jumps guard but Gs stands there with MacLain around his waist. MacLain gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gs is trying to force a seperation but MacLain has the dominant position. Gs tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
MacLain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gs gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. MacLain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gs works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gs lands some strikes from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane MacLain dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gs looks to clinch and MacLain counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gs! Gs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gs is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. MacLain lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Gs tries to hold on but MacLain pushes him away. MacLain landing shots from mount. Gs takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. MacLain lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gs is breathing heavily. MacLain is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gs can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gs tries to lock up and control but MacLain gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! MacLain connects with a massive shot to the dome!
A nice elbow there by MacLain. Gs is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gs tries to hold on but MacLain postures up. MacLain is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Gs is forced to tap! Great finish!
