Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Almazan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almazan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, smells like teen spirits. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Almazan avoids it really well and circles away.
Tyler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Almazan shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyler tries to sprawl out of it but Almazan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Tyler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Almazan counters by moving into the clinch.

Tyler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Almazan is trying to drag Tyler to the mat but Tyler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Almazan is breathing heavily.
Tyler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tyler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Almazan walks away with a smile on his face. Tyler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Almazan is looking to advance position but Tyler has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Almazan has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Almazan is trying to get back to his feet but Tyler has full control of the position and if anything, Almazan has just worked his way into a worse spot.
