The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Storm shoots in and gets a takedown into Rivers's guard.
Storm wants to control from the top but Rivers keeps moving.
Rivers wants to stand but Storm is controlling the position.
Storm looking to pass the guard.
Storm throws a big right hand that misses.

We're going to have a standup here because Jim Storm wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. Rivers tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rivers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Storm will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rivers throws an off balance right hand

and Storm counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Storm passes into half guard.
Storm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Storm seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rivers is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
