7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Dieselnoi Chor Thanasukarn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyrone Wallace! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chor Thanasukarn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Chor Thanasukarn. Wallace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wallace misses with a hook. Chor Thanasukarn ducked under it nicely. Wallace takes a kick to the side of the head. Chor Thanasukarn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wallace misses with an uppercut
and Wallace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chor Thanasukarn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wallace bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wallace working the body and head with strikes. Wallace lands some shots froms side control. Chor Thanasukarn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wallace on the ground. Wallace in side control lands a decent elbow. Wallace has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wallace thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Chor Thanasukarn tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace trying to control the action but Chor Thanasukarn is working from the bottom. Wallace lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Wallace is looking to take a break and control but Chor Thanasukarn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chor Thanasukarn takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Wallace landing strikes. Wallace takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Chor Thanasukarn to pass into mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chor Thanasukarn can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. BOOM! Wallace connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wallace lands a nice shot to the head. Wallace controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chor Thanasukarn tries to hold on but Wallace pushes him away. A big strike lands for Wallace! That's really hurt Chor Thanasukarn and he's turned his back - Wallace keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Wallace jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
