Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaewkwan Plumuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Rader!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rader fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Plumuk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rader shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Rader throwing shots but Plumuk is blocking nicely.
Rader not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rader has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rader works his way into side control.
The strikes coming from Rader are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Plumuk avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Rader.

Rader tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rader has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rader throws a strike aimed at the side of Plumuk's head but Plumuk avoids it well.
Plumuk is breathing heavily.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rader throws an elbow but Plumuk slips to the side and avoids it well.
Plumuk on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Plumuk tries to get out of the position.

Rader connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rader postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Plumuk looks a forlorn figure.


Plumuk is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rader postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Plumuk out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rader goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Justin Rader!
