Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justus Sheehan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elliot Spenser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheehan's entrance music is Knock Knock. A fine choice. Spenser is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sonne by Rammstein. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justus Sheehan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elliot Spenser! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Spenser finds it's target. Sheehan misses with a two punch combination.
Spenser looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Spenser sizes up Sheehan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Spenser throws a right hand that misses
and Sheehan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sheehan. Spenser wants to sweep but no luck. Sheehan has gone for a leg lock! Spenser slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sheehan's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sheehan is looking for a triangle here but Spenser uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Sheehan tries to improve position but can't. Sheehan is not content to let Spenser control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spenser decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sheehan to his feet. A swing and a miss from Spenser. Sheehan fails with the takedown and Spenser counters with a three punch combo that has Sheehan backing up. Sheehan nods at Spenser to acknowledge the strikes. Sheehan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Spenser misses with a body shot.
Sheehan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sheehan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Sheehan is trying to get an arm triangle but Spenser is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spenser tries to escape but Sheehan is in control. Sheehan trying to control the action but Spenser is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spenser sneaks back into half guard. Spenser is trying to maintain the position but Sheehan is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sheehan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Spenser makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Spenser. Sheehan pushes down on Spenser's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sheehan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Spenser has managed to free his arm - good work. Sheehan is working for a kimura but Spenser is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sheehan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spenser does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Elliot Spenser will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sheehan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spenser throws a lazy uppercut
and Sheehan counters with a takedown into side control. A lull in the action here. Sheehan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Spenser has escaped the position, nice work there. Sheehan working away. Sheehan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sheehan is trying to get an arm triangle but Spenser is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. A control attempt from Spenser but he's now mounted! Sheehan looking to control but Spenser is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sheehan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Spenser is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Spenser stopping the sweep attempt from Sheehan. Spenser must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Spenser trying to control the position from guard on top but Sheehan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sheehan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sheehan is trying to control the position but Spenser postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spenser is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Sheehan keeping moving, preventing Spenser from controlling successfully.
Elliot Spenser has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Spenser throws a poor cross that misses
and Sheehan counters with a single leg into guard. Spenser didn't expect that. Spenser is trying to control the position but Sheehan postures up. Spenser keeping full guard, as Sheehan tries to pass. Sheehan passes Spenser's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sheehan moves nicely into side control. Spenser tries to bench press Sheehan off him but Sheehan keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sheehan staying calm. Sheehan working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Spenser gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Spenser can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justus Sheehan dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Spenser keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sheehan has his takedown stuffed and Spenser counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sheehan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Spenser. Spenser scores with a body shot.
Spenser changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Oooooh!!! Spenser has knocked Sheehan down with a huge combo! Spenser steps away and waves a wobbly Sheehan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Justus Sheehan has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sheehan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sheehan is rocked! Spenser feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Sheehan crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Elliot Spenser!
