Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Hinges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Huerta's choice of entrance music: Devine. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinges throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Huerta tries for a takedown but Hinges circles away easily
and Hinges counters with a big head kick but Huerta shrugs it off.
Hinges lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Huerta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hinges gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Huerta is looking for a triangle but Hinges pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Huerta has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hinges can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Huerta is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Huerta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hinges gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Huerta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hinges defends well.

Huerta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Huerta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hinges won't be happy with that.

and Hinges counters with a low kick, right behind Huerta 's knee.
Hinges lands with a slapping head kick.
Hinges feints and then cracks Huerta's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Huerta down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Huerta has a hand on Hinges's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hinges takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Huerta is desperately trying to improve his position but Hinges has a good base and remains in mount.
