Crixius's entrance music is "We Are Gladiators" of Joseph LoDuca. A fine choice. Erik Flugentaggen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gaule Crixius's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flugentaggen has a takedown stuffed.
Flugentaggen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crixius sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Flugentaggen somewhat.
Nice sprawl there from Crixius as Flugentaggen shoots in.
Gaule Crixius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Flugentaggen.
Flugentaggen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crixius.
Flugentaggen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Flugentaggen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Crixius throws a shot to the body.
Crixius's corner calls for a 1-2. Crixius obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Flugentaggen slips a jab and a cross from Crixius.
Flugentaggen shoots in for a double leg but Crixius sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Flugentaggen looks gassed!
A jab from Crixius finds it's way through Flugentaggen's defenses.
Flugentaggen dives in and grabs Crixius's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crixius pushes down on Flugentaggen's head and hops out.

A jab-cross combination lands for Crixius and sends Flugentaggen crashing to the mat! Crixius follows him down to the mat - Flugentaggen regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gaule Crixius wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Flugentaggen shoots for a takedown but Crixius saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Flugentaggen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Crixius ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Flugentaggen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gaule Crixius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Flugentaggen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Crixius finds it's way round the side to connect with Flugentaggen's head.
Flugentaggen dives in and grabs Crixius's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crixius pushes down on Flugentaggen's head and hops out.
Crixius jabs Flugentaggen right on the nose. Flugentaggen blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Erik Flugentaggen has been cut.
Crixius stuns Flugentaggen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Crixius lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Flugentaggen falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
