The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto looks for a takedown but Jenkins sprawls well.
Jenkins gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Matsumoto counters with an outside leg kick.
Leeroy Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenkins shoots in and gets a takedown into Matsumoto's guard.
Matsumoto has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jenkins doesn't defend quickly enough and Matsumoto has managed to lock this one up! Can Jenkins escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Matsumoto on a fantastic submission victory.
