Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Larry Carnitine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carnitine's entrance music is Doro Pesch and Udo Dirkschneider covering Breaking the Law. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Carnitine momentarily.
Carnitine tries for a takedown but Escobar circles away easily
and Escobar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carnitine slips a jab and a cross from Escobar.
Carnitine fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Escobar sprawls well initially but Carnitine persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Escobar pushes Carnitine off and gets back to his feet.
Escobar rushes Carnitine and presses him up against the cage.
Carnitine has had enough of the clinch but Escobar keeps him there for the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Escobar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carnitine keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Escobar is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Let's hope that Escobar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Escobar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
