Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Wanderlay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nigal comes to the cage accompanied by 5FDP-Meet The Monster. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jose Wanderlay was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Nigal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jose Wanderlay! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wanderlay clobbers Nigal with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A head kick from Wanderlay lands but Nigal takes it in his stride. Wanderlay throws a head kick that Nigal semi-blocks.
Nigal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nigal tries to clinch there but Wanderlay circles away.

Wanderlay buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Nigal fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nigal throws a head kick that misses and Wanderlay counters with an outside leg kick.
Good leg kick by Wanderlay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

It looks like Jack Nigal has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Wanderlay lands the left hand. Wanderlay lands a high kick!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wanderlay.

Wanderlay lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Nigal is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Nigal scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wanderlay throws a head kick that half lands.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nigal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nigal is breathing heavily. Wanderlay fakes the leg kick and cracks Nigal in the body. Wanderlay lands with a kick to the temple. Nigal shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Wanderlay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nigal did well to prevent Wanderlay getting side control. Nigal is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wanderlay pulls his head out easily. Wanderlay controlling the action here. Nigal is looking for a sweep. Wanderlay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Still in half guard, Wanderlay seems content to control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wanderlay is pressing down on Nigal's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nigal is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wanderlay stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jose Wanderlay was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nigal tries to close the distance and clinch but Wanderlay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nigal is looking to clinch. Wanderlay fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Nigal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wanderlay counters with a thumping low kick. Wanderlay scores with a jab. Nigal acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wanderlay lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nigal's sensitive parts. Wanderlay ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A head kick from Wanderlay lands but Nigal takes it in his stride. Wanderlay throws out a powerful jab. Wanderlay throws a head kick that half lands.
Nigal fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Nigal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nigal on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wanderlay. Wanderlay obviously looking to wear him down.
Wanderlay scores with a push kick. Wanderlay lands a jab to the head.
Wanderlay feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nigal's calf. Wanderlay lands a jab-cross combination. Wanderlay goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Wanderlay connects with a high kick.
Nigal is rocked! Wanderlay fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Nigal to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Nigal looks to clinch but Wanderlay throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Nigal taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
