Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scruff McGruff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGruff kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dream On. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGruff misses with a takedown attempt
letting Oliver counter with a right hand.
It looks like Scruff McGruff has been cut.
McGruff doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Oliver counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McGruff shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Oliver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scruff McGruff. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Oliver counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oliver closes the distance and clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oliver has McGruff pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Oliver pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McGruff tumbling to the mat - Oliver dives into McGruff's guard.
Oliver must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Oliver postures up in McGruff's guard and throws a big left but McGruff blocks it.
Oliver content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because McGruff has locked up a guillotine! McGruff's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Oliver is holding on here and McGruff must be using up a lot of energy. Oliver has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! McGruff gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
