The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson has his takedown stuffed
enabling Svensson to counter with a crisp jab.

Svensson cracks Thompson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Thompson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Svensson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thompson scrambles back to his feet.

Svensson connects with a nice cross there... Thompson is looking wobbly and Svensson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Thompson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Svensson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
