The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgenson tries to move into range but Andazola moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Andazola throws a wild body kick that Jurgenson sees coming a mile off.
Jurgenson fails with the takedown
and Andazola makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jurgenson has his takedown stuffed
and Andazola counters with a two punch combo.
Andazola throws a quick inside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jurgenson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jurgenson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Andazola counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wayde Andazola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Joe Jurgenson.
Jurgenson looks gassed!
Andazola lands a front kick.
Andazola lands a nice hook to Jurgenson's body. Jurgenson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Andazola is looking to slow Jurgenson down with leg kicks.
Andazola scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jurgenson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jurgenson is rocked!
Jurgenson get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Jurgenson stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Andazola runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
