PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Abramovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abramovich kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mr Crowley. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abramovich fails with an attempt to clinch.

Morrow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Abramovich looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Morrow is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Abramovich pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Abramovich gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Abramovich has Morrow pressed against the cage, preventing Morrow from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Morrow should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Morrow connects with a nice short shot to Abramovich's temple.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Morrow cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I've got Morrow winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
