PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Chambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chambler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kim. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Chambler will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jon Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Chambler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chambler.
Chambler is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
