Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatu Tikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mara Paavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tikki comes to the cage accompanied by Ratatat - Loud Pipes. Tatu Tikki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tikki swinging wilding here.
Tikki throws a body punch but Paavi moves out of range.
Tikki misses with a double jab.
Tikki feints and then cracks Paavi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Paavi down.
Tikki throws a head kick that misses.
Paavi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tikki jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tikki fails to land with a series of punches.
Paavi dodges the punch combination from Tikki.

Paavi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tikki is looking to escape.

It looks like Tatu Tikki has been cut.

Paavi swings around for an armbar but Tikki sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Paavi's guard.

Paavi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tikki is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Paavi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tikki's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tikki rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tikki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Paavi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Tatu Tikki will probably get the nod.

Tikki is looking to stand up but Paavi isn't so interested in that idea.

Paavi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tikki tries to bench press Paavi off him but Paavi keeps the position.
