Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Pyyno Janis!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Janis tries for a takedown but Reinfeldt circles away easily
and Reinfeldt counters with a left to the body.

Fredruk Reinfeldt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pyyno Janis.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reinfeldt is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Janis reverses the position - he's now on top in Reinfeldt's guard.
Janis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reinfeldt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Janis throwing strikes from guard but Reinfeldt blocks nicely.
Reinfeldt striking off his back but it's not causing Janis any problems.
Janis trying to control the position from guard on top but Reinfeldt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reinfeldt being controlled here, momentarily.
Reinfeldt has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Janis has passed into side control.

Janis creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Reinfeldt trying to remain calm as Janis controls from the top position.
The strikes coming from Janis are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Janis lands a few punches from side control.
The referee asks Janis politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Janis prefers to stall for the moment though.

Reinfeldt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Janis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A lull in the action here as Janis stalls from top position.

A close round but Pyyno Janis will probably get the nod.
That's time! Reinfeldt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
No luck for Janis with that takedown attempt.
Janis shoots for a takedown but Reinfeldt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Janis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reinfeldt sprawls well initially but Janis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Janis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Reinfeldt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Reinfeldt is pressing down on Janis's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Reinfeldt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Janis is pushing down on Reinfeldt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reinfeldt is fighting to maintain full guard but Janis has managed to sneak the leg through.
Reinfeldt is looking for a sweep. Janis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Janis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Janis wants to pass to mount but Reinfeldt is defending the position.
Reinfeldt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Janis is taking a breather. Reinfeldt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Janis maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Reinfeldt could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Janis has cracked it and Reinfeldt is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Janis!
