Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josefski Slabadavski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber's entrance music is m.o.v.e - around the world. A fine choice. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josefski Slabadavski!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber throws an off balance right hand
and Slabadavski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Slabadavski throws out a loose jab but Faber uses good head movement to avoid it.
Faber misses the body punch

and Slabadavski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Slabadavski stalling away here and it's allowed Faber to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Slabadavski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Faber doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Well Slabadavski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
