Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranma Saotome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Brokholc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ranma Saotome!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Magnus Brokholc!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saotome fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Brokholc tries to clinch up.
Brokholc fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brokholc looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Saotome looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Saotome wants to control from the top but Brokholc keeps moving.
Saotome stopping the sweep attempt from Brokholc.

Saotome wants to pass the guard but Brokholc is keeping the position.
Brokholc is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Saotome trying to control the position from guard on top but Brokholc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Saotome is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brokholc misses with a wild body shot.
Saotome changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brokholc tries to avoid it but Saotome manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brokholc to the ground. Brokholc escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Brokholc gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Saotome slips nicely into half guard.

Saotome wants to work for an arm triangle but Brokholc is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Saotome is breathing heavily.
Saotome stops Brokholc from getting back to his feet.

Brokholc is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Saotome jumps into side control!
Brokholc tries to buck Saotome off but Saotome is having none of it.
Brokholc is trying to control Saotome's posture but Saotome avoids it.

Saotome is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brokholc knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Brokholc wants to control but Saotome postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brokholc looks to land a right hand but Saotome moved out of range.
Saotome tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brokholc swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ranma Saotome. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brokholc lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Brokholc moves in looking to clinch but Saotome pushes him off.
Saotome shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brokholc as he jumps to the side.
Brokholc throws a push kick but Saotome slaps the foot to one side.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Saotome shoots for a double leg takedown but Brokholc sprawls well. He's pushed Saotome's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brokholc fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brokholc wants to clinch up but Saotome keeps it at a distance.
Saotome avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Saotome feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Saotome stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brokholc swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brokholc will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Saotome pushes down on Brokholc's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Saotome seems to be looking for submissions.
Saotome is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brokholc!

Saotome wants to finish this one by submission but Brokholc is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Saotome.

Brokholc has given up his back. Will we see Saotome going for some submissions?

Saotome working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Brokholc is doing well to defend. Saotome seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Brokholc is forced to tap and this one is over!
