Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Clancey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Clancey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Bones!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Clancey prevents Bones from improving position.
Bones throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Bones cracks Clancey with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Clancey is trying to get back to his feet.
Clancey can't do much from the bottom here.
The strikes coming from Bones are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Bones tries to get to his feet but Clancey is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Bones in his guard.

Clancey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bones, up you get!
Bones closes the distance and clinches up with Clancey, looking for a takedown. Bones pushes Clancey against the cage but Clancey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Clancey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bones backs up against the cage.


It looks like Jon Bones has been cut.

Bones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clancey tries to avoid it but Bones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clancey to the ground. Clancey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bones needs to keep his hands up - Clancey had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bones takes a swing at Clancey's ribcage but misses.

Bones is stalling here. Clancey is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bones seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Clancey has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clancey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
