Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
lidell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
lidell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blood paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blood throws a shot from downtown. lidell moves away and avoids it.
A big left from Blood misses.
Blood looks to score with a jab to the body but lidell is just out of range.
Blood looks to land a right hand but lidell moved out of range.
lidell slips under a jab from Blood.
Blood misses with a straight right.
A combination from lidell does no damage.
Blood throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
lidell avoids the body shot from Blood.

Blood throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
lidell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
lidell is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

lidell is looking to stall here but Blood recovers full guard.
lidell throws and elbow that misses. Blood uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in lidell's guard. Nice move by Blood!
lidell wants to sweep but no luck.
Blood stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Blood looks to throw the jab but lidell is out of range.
Blood sizes up lidell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Blood bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps lidell's head backwards.
lidell tries to clinch but Blood is having none of it.
Blood lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
lidell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blood.
lidell moves out of range of the strikes.
lidell clinches with his opponent.
lidell tries to pull guard but Blood holds him up against the cage and eventually lidell drops back down to his feet.
lidell is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Blood lands a left hand.
lidell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
lidell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blood just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tiger Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike lidell.
lidell jumps guard but Blood stands there with lidell around his waist. lidell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
lidell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

lidell throws a strike but Blood avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
lidell is looking to advance position but Blood has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Blood manages to capitalize on a mistake by lidell to take his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiger Blood dominated that round.
That's time! Blood's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A cross from Blood lands.
Blood throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and lidell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Blood on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blood tries to get out of the position.
lidell wants to stand and escape but instead Blood has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
lidell wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Blood manages to pass to side control.

lidell is trying to get back to full guard.
lidell has a hand on Blood's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Blood takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Blood gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Blood is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by lidell.

Blood throws a hook to the side of lidell's head but lidell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

lidell lands with a good body shot.
Blood works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
lidell is rocked!
Crack! Blood connects with the perfect overhand right and lidell falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Blood!
