Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gabrielli counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gabrielli prevents John from improving his position.
John trying to control but Gabrielli postures up.
John wants to get back to full guard.

Gabrielli won't allow John to sweep him here.
John kicks Gabrielli off and gets to his feet.

A clash of legs there as John blocks the low kick.
Gabrielli throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and John counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
John lands a slapping body shot.
John throws a right and a left that Gabrielli avoids nicely.
John throws a looping overhand right but Gabrielli ducks down to avoid it.
John misses with an uppercut.
John has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from John there as he acknowledges the shot.
John avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
John missing with a left hand there. Gabrielli was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
John misses with a lunging right hand
and Gabrielli counters with a nice body shot.
John throws a series of punches but Gabrielli moves out of range.
John scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gabrielli defending well as John loads up on a big left hand.
John cracks Gabrielli with a right hand to the side of the head.
Good exchange - John coming out on top.
Gabrielli will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

John moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and John counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gabrielli ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gabrielli takes one to the chin there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gabrielli rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but John moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gabrielli looks gassed!
John with a body punch. A glancing blow.
John fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Big John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

John connects with a crisp jab.
Gabrielli on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gabrielli on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
John connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gabrielli with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling John to score with a decent uppercut.
John takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
John darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
John stuns Gabrielli with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
John throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Gabrielli colapses and takes a barrage of punches from John as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Gabrielli is left battered and dazed whilst John and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big John!
