Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Higginsworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higginsworth comes to the cage accompanied by Mr. Grinch. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne pivots, looking for a leg kick but Higginsworth is out of range and Wayne settles back down.

and Higginsworth counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wayne misses with an uppercut. Higginsworth saw that one coming.

Higginsworth bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

and Wayne counters with a right hand to the body.
Wayne swings for the body but Higginsworth moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Higginsworth. That's going to slow Wayne down.
A clash of legs there as Wayne blocks the low kick.
Higginsworth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Higginsworth lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wayne has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wayne and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Higginsworth pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wayne is out of range and Higginsworth settles back down.

Wayne chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Higginsworth can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Higginsworth can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
