Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Njabuliso Kanelelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernando comes into the arena with Audio Slave - Like a Stone blaring out of the sound system. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernando blocks a jab.
Kanelelo lands with a right hand.
Njabuliso Kanelelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernando shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kanelelo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fernando thows a big elbow that misses.
Fernando advances position into side control!
Fernando is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kanelelo has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kanelelo is trying to improve his position.
Kanelelo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Fernando tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fernando has hold of Kanelelo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kanelelo seems comfortable defending it but Fernando has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kanelelo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kanelelo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fernando couldn't care less - he's delighted!
