Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Art Vandelay!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmon walks into a straight right hand from Vandelay.
Blackmon throws a head kick but Vandelay moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Blackmon.
Blackmon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vandelay pushes Blackmon up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Blackmon throws an elbow but misses.
Blackmon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vandelay tries to clinch but Blackmon is having none of it.
Blackmon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vandelay misses with the combination.
Vandelay changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Blackmon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rolondo Blackmon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blackmon is breathing heavily.
Vandelay listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Rolondo Blackmon has been cut.

Blackmon throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Blackmon throws a head kick that Vandelay semi-blocks.
Blackmon slips a jab and a cross from Vandelay.
Oooooh!!! Vandelay has knocked Blackmon down with a huge combo! Vandelay steps away and waves a wobbly Blackmon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Blackmon is rocked!
Vandelay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Blackmon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blackmon tries to break free but Vandelay pushes him back against the cage.
Vandelay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vandelay cracks Blackmon with a left hook right on the temple and Blackmon goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Vandelay lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Blackmon is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Art Vandelay!
